What is This Mysterious Ruin?
On the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, some ways after crossing the Bhairab bridge, on the left of the road, is this mysterious ruin. The sign is a warning not to damage it (or go to jail). But no details on what it is. Does anyone know?
While we were on our way to lawachara forest, moulbhibazar, we also experienced this monument. But we thought it as some bridge which were left out of use and the two gateways of the bridge are washed out due to flood. But we missed the noticeboard and as it suggests it's a protected antique! Which means we were wrong.
My family returned to Bangladesh after 30 years of living abroad. This blog recounts some of our experiences after returning home.
