Thank you very much for pointing out the report. I will need some time to read it, but unfortunately I am on travel and am not always connected, so I will wait until I am back in Dhaka.
Last time I was in Sylhet (August 2007), I was very frustrated with accessibility to information.
Hence I created www.zindabazar.mobi, as an attempt to build a fun and easy to use platform where people can access information of organisations via mobile phones. The site also allows users to post things that they want to sell..
My family returned to Bangladesh after 30 years of living abroad. This blog recounts some of our experiences after returning home.

Really enjoyed reading the article. I have only been to Sylhet a handful of times, but whatever I managed to see of the city, I loved.
I am leaving the comment here because this is the most recent posting. I have some of your ideas for developing IT in Bangladesh.
You may want to read a report on "How to develop IT in Bangladesh" You can find the report here. I think many of your ideas are reflected here.
